Thankful Thursday!

I've decide to start Thankful Thursdays so that I will slow down and purposely make a mental note of and remember all of the many blessings that God has so graciously given me.  Each Thursday I will make a list of at least 5 things that I'm thankful for and I would love it if you left me a comment telling me what you are thankful for this week.  It would be such an encouragement to me to hear all of the good things that God is doing in your life!

So this is my list for today:

1.  I'm thankful that God has blessed me with a wonderful husband who works very hard to provide for our family and who is always thinking of me and coming up with ways to surprise me just so he can see me smile.  


2.  I'm thankful for all of my children and for the wonderful gift of adoption, for without it, I would not have the blessing of one of my children.....soon to be two!


3.  I'm thankful for Springtime.......for blue skies, green grass and flowers and warmer temperatures and for being able to open my windows and smell the fresh air!


4.  I'm thankful for phones, computers and for the internet.  For technology really.... My oldest is married and living 5 hours away and technology is enabling us to talk on the phone and skype on the computer, helping us to feel like we are right next to each other, when in reality we are very far apart.


5.  I'm thankful for the garbage man.....I don't even want to think about what life would be like without someone to come and take away all of our yucky stuff.  So thank you garbage man for doing the very stinky job that you do.....I salute you!  =)
