Once our eyes are opened we cannot pretend we do not know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls knows we know, and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

Regional Basketball Tournament Weekend

Haylie, Hana and Nathaniel's basketball teams were participating in Michigan's Homeschool Regional Tournament so we packed up and headed to Mt. Pleasant for the weekend.  The girl's team continued their winning streak, beating the team they played. They will now go on to the State Finals next weekend, which will be held in Lansing Michigan.

Haylie and Hana's team praying with their opponents. This is something that they do before every game.

Nathaniel's team receiving instructions during a timeout and Nathaniel with his "game face" on. Unfortunately, Nathaniel's team didn't win their games so their team is done for this season.

Friday after Nathaniel played his first game of the tournament, we went back to our hotel and the kids headed to the pool.  They were able to get a lot of swimming time in and we hardly had to share the pool at all!

We also got to have a short visit with my brother Andy, his wife Jamie and their kids Samantha and Zachary.  Hana hadn't met them yet so it was so nice that they could make it over to see the girls play and to have time to sit down at a restaurant with us and do some catching up.

It was fun, but tiring....so we are very glad to be back home.  One more basketball weekend ahead and then it's on to soccer....Woot!  =)
