What do I do? Send in the app with a less than great picture or wait yet another day to take a picture with a different camera and send it in tomorrow? I think I will send it over to Costco or Walmart to be printed and see how bad it actually looks, then decide.
Things accomplished last week:
*Hired a notary to go witness and sign our medical letters
*Picked up all of our medical letters
*Talked to our social worker, our 1st agency and prospective agencies---too many times
*Contacted our social worker to tell her we have all pieces of info and that T is ready for his interview and our final appt.
*Cancelled contract with 1st agency
*Printed and filled out all paperwork for new agency and got all necessary documents ready to send with it...except family picture
*Went over dossier list and checked to see how close we are to being finished with that--real close
*Contacted a printer and sent in our artwork for the t-shirt we designed. We are trying to come up with something to put on the back and as soon as that's done we will have the shirts printed up.
*Working on bracelets every spare minute
*Started bedroom painting project---just had to add that because I'm so excited to have that ugly green forever gone from my bedroom!!
The good news is that by switching to this other agency we are now going to be able to submit our dossier as soon as it is done instead of waiting for the I-600A to be sent and to be processed---1-2 months. Our homestudy should be done within 2 weeks, we will submit it to the agency to get it approved and as soon as the agency approves our initial application they will hopefully send us their requirements for the dossier and we can get started on putting that together for them. My friend that has used this agency said that she knows of someone who got their dossier done in a week!! No, I'm not even letting myself go there.....we will finish when we finish.
Have a great week!!

Congrats on picking an agency...that is wonderful.
Sorry about your camera...did you try to change the batteries in it? Hope it is something simple...do you know someone with a digital camera that could shoot a few pictures of you ...they could email the pictures to you, then you could send them to shutterfly (or other online photo service) and have them in a few days.
praying for you.
