Once our eyes are opened we cannot pretend we do not know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls knows we know, and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

Great news....the long awaited (not really, but sounds much more dramatic) paperwork has arrived from AAI!  Woot!  I finished filling out the stack in record time and now all that's left is to track down my hubby to get his "John Hancock" on a few things and pop those papers back in the mail and send them right back where they came from!  Also, got a call from our social worker yesterday...she is diligently writing our life story.  Not sure when she will be finished but it should be within a week or so.

Here's something for all of you that may wonder about the risks of immunizations.  I few posts ago I wrote about H who after receiving 4 shots she passed out.  Well, it took her 2-3 days to recover just from the passing out but she has also been feeling dizzy (and having various other symptoms) since that day.  She has had to miss playing in 2 of her basketball games and at this point doesn't go too far from home for fear of passing out again.  Yesterday we found out that her body has had an allergic reaction to all or one of the shots she got.  Her blood pressure was too high and some of her organs are not functioning as well as they should.  The person that we took her to said that her body was in chaos and was trying to fight off what was injected into her.  Now this isn't your typical severe reaction but it is still affecting her health and her ability to function normally.  What do you think?  Has anyone else out there had a reaction to immunizations like this?  If so, what did you do?

This leaves me with a great fear of getting the needed travel vaccines for this adoption.  Yikes!

Have a great day!
