Once our eyes are opened we cannot pretend we do not know what to do. God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls knows we know, and holds us responsible to act. Proverbs 24:12

This week seems to have been a repeat of last weeks craziness. Something scheduled during all hours of the day...fitting things in here and there where we might have a chunk of time. I'm so glad that it's the weekend...TGIF!

This morning we will go to the health department to get the kids shots. Yes, we were supposed to have already done that...not even going there....let's just say that immunizations have been one of those adoption process set backs that we have been experiencing. Hopefully the kids will endure it o.k. A couple of them are pretty nervous. Now that they have gotten their blood work the "feel of the poke" is still very fresh in their mind. Everyone did great with the blood draw except for poor "N" who's nerves couldn't take it so he ended up "checking out" for a short time. Yep, he has joined the ranks of his two older sisters and has become a Pastoor that passes out during times of fear/stress! So he had two firsts on Tuesday, had his blood drawn and his first time passing out!

We now are almost at the end of our first big hurdle! You can't see me but I am in my p.j's doing my special "I am so glad to be done with our homestudy" dance. You're really missing something great over here....hmmm...anyway... The only things we have left are mine,T's and L's lab work (that's tomorrow), gathering the doctor's letters and completing our financial paper. After that is done T will bring our book with all of our papers etc. that we have had to gather and haul it over to the social worker's house. He will have his interview and then she will start the writing process. She asks for at least a 10 day cushion to get everything organized, written and copied. So we should have it in our hands to send to our agency for approval within a couple of weeks!

Just want to thank 3 special people for taking the time to fill out or write a letter of reference for us. I'm assuming that you wrote only good things! ;) Really, I can't think of anything bad about myself, so how could you??! ;)

K, before I dig this hole any deeper I'm going stop here. Have a great day wherever you are and with whatever you may be doing!

Wendy
