Yesterday I found out that we are going to have major headaches trying to get my birth certificate! I have a birth certificate but it is not certified. So I will need to send the required forms (notarized, mind you) to the county clerk's office in Hanford CA to request copies---thinking ahead, not ordering one, but 3!! Wa, ah, ah... (a little of the Count from Sesame Street for you...ah...yeah...getting back to what I was saying...) But apparently that is not good enough! So, after I receive my 3 copies I will then need to turn around and send them back to California to the Secretary of State's office to be certified again! You see, they need to certify that the signature of the county clerk that certified it, is certifiable.....got it??? Yeah....I'm thinking we are going to have to go through this with Todd's birth certificate too, but at least he was born in GR. Yipes!! Wish me luck with all of this paperwork....I'm lost in the pile somewhere....if I don't show up sometime today could someone come looking for me?? I might be lost...and most likely hungry......poor me..... :(
