It's snowing still. I'm not saying again because it never stopped. The snow banks are just about higher than the cars now, it's kinda like driving through a maze. Another big storm is supposed to be coming today....note to self....find out what time we should be expecting its arrival. Our meeting with the social worker was cancelled last week due to the last big snow storm. So today at 4:00 is our re-scheduled appointment...that is, if we don't have to re-schedule again because of this storm. At this pace it could be years (slight exaggeration on my part) before we get this process finished! Our agency sent us a copy of the contract we signed with a letter telling about the package they have sent to us. It contains all of our pre-adoption training materials. Seminars and classes...with tests included. That should be interesting.....I wonder if I will find out that I am not suited to be a parent?? Hmmm....

On another note....I finished painting the DR, Kit and stairway yesterday!!! Hip Hip Hurray! Now I can start on the bathrooms...woo hoo...so exciting....maybe I'll wait till January....

Today I have to:

*Finish Christmas shopping (happens when you don't start till the Saturday before Christmas)

*Do a mountain of laundry...honestly, I don't know where it came from...it wasn't there yesterday...really...

*Clean and organize my house to get ready for my family to arrive

*Hang all of the pictures etc. back on the walls...took them down when I was painting...it's much easier to paint when there's nothing on the walls....duh

*plan the meals for the "real" Christmas dinner and the one we will have on the Saturday after Christmas when the fam is here.

*Since I just planned the meal...I probably should shop for all of the food for it...oh drats....I'm getting really tired, maybe I should go back to bed and catch a nap before I attack this list...

I think I will stop here cuz my list is getting too big....there are only so many hours in one day and I am only just one little me (I'm serious, you should see me compared to my hubby and kids) I'm pretty short for my age.
